Getting started

We provide lessons across South Manchester, Blackburn with Darwen and locations within approximately eight miles of Preston Driving Test Centre. Availability varies by postcode and instructor.

Your instructor will discuss your experience, check your licence and eyesight, introduce the vehicle controls and begin at a level suited to your confidence and ability.

Yes. Refresher lessons can help with confidence, parking, motorways, unfamiliar roads or returning after a break.
Tests and intensive courses
Discuss timing with your instructor. A test date should allow enough time to reach a safe and consistent test standard.
This depends on availability and whether the instructor considers you ready to use the vehicle safely. The test-day service costs £120.
No. The schedule depends on instructor availability, your existing ability and how many hours you can manage effectively.
A 30-hour course may suit someone with useful previous experience. A 40-hour course provides more training time. An assessment is the best way to determine suitability.
Cancellation terms should be confirmed when booking. Give as much notice as possible to avoid losing lesson time or incurring a charge.
